As part of cooperation with the ALDI retail chain, we created a brand and designed packaging for the egg product line. The work began with proposing a name that would fit in with the client’s marketing strategy. The design of the packaging is a consequence of the selected positioning – it creates the world of the brand, which had to be associated with naturalness and idyllic nature, and announces the resignation from selling cage eggs.
Egg packaging, both those offered directly by farms and those sold under private labels of retail chains, is an interesting example of the evolution of branding. Once designed mainly in terms of functionality and containing generic markings, today they fight for the attention and purchasing decision of customers, also focusing on emotions.
